Anthem dedicated to mothers, particularly popular during Mother's Day celebrations. This Dominican version dates from the beginning of the 20th century and was written by the poet Trina de Moya, wife of the Dominican president Horacio Vásquez.

de intenso amor filial

Cantemos a las madres
con un buen corazón
Come, all you inhabitants
of the countryside and the city
