A very little boy one day, planted a sunflower seed
Daily he watched with pride, it grow to a fine big size.
What a wonderful feast he thought it would be
For a fine little hungry honeybee!
So he found a hive, and he caught one alive,
I'll take it to the flower said he.
But, the bee began to sting him so that he dropped it
As he shouted oh, oh, oh!
Don't be angry Mr. Bee, why do you bite me,
I am the one who grew the flower for you little hungry bee,
Don't be angry Mr. Bee, why do you bite so,
For I'm the one that grew that flower,
For you, little hungry bee.

Then the bee buzzed around his head,
And to the bee he said,
Don't be angry Mr. Bee, why do you bite me ....
........ repeat the chorus.

Tell the story of how we blacked our faces, bows in hair,
travelled on public transport bus, in all innocence!
