The Spanish children's song "Pin Pon" was composed by Mexican radio personality Cri-Cri and popularized in the 1960s by Chilean TV host Jorge Guerra, who created the character of a cardboard doll named Pin Pon for his children's show. The song has since undergone lyrical variations throughout Latin American folk and is often included in collections of children's songs.

Pin Pon es un muñeco
muy guapo en el cartón
Se lava sus manitas
con agua y con jabón

Se desenreda el pelo
con peine de marfil
Pin Pon se va a la cama
Pin Pon se va a dormir

Pin Pon, dame la mano
con un fuerte apretón
Que quiero ser tu amigo
Pin Pon, Pin Pon, Pin Pon
Pin Pon is a doll
so handsome in cardboard
He washes his little hands
with soap and water

He untangles his hair
with an ivory comb
Pin Pon goes to bed
Pin Pon goes to sleep

Pin Pon, give me your hand
in a strong handshake
Because I want to be your friend
Pin Pon, Pin Pon, Pin Pon
